Ingredients

  • 2–3 Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausages (cut into thick slices, ~1 inch)
  • 1 medium zucchini (sliced into thick rounds)
  • 1 bell pepper (cut into large chunks)
  • ½ red onion (cut into wedges, layers separated)
  • 2 ears corn (cut into 1-1½-inch rounds)
  • 18 large cherry tomatoes
  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika, or Italian seasoning
  • 6 skewers (metal or soaked wooden)

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium (around 375–400°F).
  2. Slice sausage, zucchini, pepper, onion, and corn so they’re all similar in size for even cooking.
  3. Toss all ingredients (except tomatoes if you want them less soft) in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
  4. Build the kebabs: Thread ingredients onto skewers in a mixed pattern—sausage, zucchini, pepper, onion, corn, tomato—repeating until full. Keep things snug but not packed too tight.
  5. Place kebabs on the grill: lay them across the grates like in the image, directly over heat.
  6. Grill for about 10–15 minutes total: turn every 3–4 minutes so all sides get a light char and even cooking.
  7. Watch for doneness: sausage should be heated through and slightly crisp on edges; veggies should be tender with grill marks.
  8. Remove and rest for a couple of minutes, then serve.
