- 2½ pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
- 1½ tablespoons sea salt
- 1 pound shredded savoy cabbage
- 1 cup buttermilk,* warmed**If you don’t have buttermilk, substitute 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice plus enough milk to equal 1 cup. Let stand 5 minutes.
